I didn’t really know what I was signing up for when I offered to draw 5,000 unique frames of animation for this music video. But once I was in, I was in.
Alix Page is an incredible artist with a knack for those goosebumpy heart-stopping folky moments. It caught me by surprise on first listen, and again on listen 434. It inspired me to dig deep and put big, heaping tablespoons of myself onto each frame.
I’m very grateful Cole approached me with the opportunity to make this, and even more grateful for giving me the 2.5 months it took to come together.
Good lord. 5,000 frames. I might never do this again.
